We spent an inspiring day in Kaunas Oakwood, where we educated the participants of the Erasmus+ Outdoor Experiential Education and Sustainable growth project about acorns and their benefits!

The international participants had the opportunity to learn how acorns can be used not only for food, but also to make acorn coffee. During the education, we gave a detailed presentation on the chemical composition of acorns and their health benefits. It was a great example to the participants of how to use natural resources sustainably and create healthy alternative products.

Project goal: To educate the inhabitants of small towns and suburbs in Lithuania and Turkey to be role models of environmental protection and sustainable practices. During this session, participants not only learned about the benefits of acorns, but also saw how natural resources can become part of everyday life.

The project "Outdoor Experiential Education and Sustainable growth" is partly funded by the European Union.
