Lithuanian apples education

We had a busy and productive day - we presented an education about Lithuanian apples, apple trees, apple jam, cheeses and tea for the Erasmus+ project "Outdoor Experiential Education and Sustainable growth"!

Participants from abroad learned about our country's long-standing traditions, from organic apple growing to the production of natural products. During the practical sessions, they could taste fresh Lithuanian apples themselves, while cheese and fragrant tea were a great way to end the education. Participants were impressed by how these simple and everyday traditions can be examples of excellent sustainability practices.

Project goal: To educate the inhabitants of small towns and suburbs in Lithuania and Turkey to be examples of environmental protection and sustainable practices. These activities help to introduce the ideas of sustainability and raise awareness about the importance of natural, local products.

The project "Outdoor Experiential Education and Sustainable growth" is partly funded by the European Union.
