On May 24, 2024, during the “Neighbors’ Festival” held in Kaunas, we actively promoted the OPERATION project and highlighted its benefits for the community. Our goal was not only to inform people about this initiative but also to encourage them to engage in various activities. During the event, we invited passersby to become active participants, join the project’s activities, and experience how such initiatives can enrich their lives with new knowledge and skills.
Additionally, we introduced the festival attendees to the Erasmus+ program, emphasizing the opportunities it offers, both through volunteering and participating in various international projects. We explained that these initiatives not only help develop personal skills but also contribute to meaningful intercultural experiences that enhance self-expression, social responsibility, and professional growth. We highlighted that volunteering and involvement in Erasmus+ projects is an excellent way to gain new skills, establish connections with people from other countries, and broaden one’s perspective.
During the event, we focused on ensuring interactivity and personal engagement. We shared our experiences, answered questions, and distributed informational materials about the project and the Erasmus+ program. This approach not only captured the attention of interested visitors but also encouraged them to explore opportunities that could transform their approach to learning and community building. At the same time, we created a positive impression of our initiative, demonstrating how local residents can be meaningfully involved in community and international projects.
